biggest rule of tumblr is to make a blog you enjoy and only post what you want otherwise you're getting into the territory of loser behavior.. nothing matters but you and your blog and maybe the fun you have with some mewchies along the way

people are so annoying about strikes like they’ll say they support the workers and then complain about how it’s inconveniencing them. please explain to me, in your own words, what you think a strike is and how it’s effective, I’d love to know

Sorry For Dropping In So Late,

CGI animators should unionize next. normally, their jobs would be too precarious to strike, since studios would replace them without a second thought, but if it's part of this larger general film strike, they might finally have meaningful power to better their working conditions

if CGI animators unionized, it would kill the MCU. straight up. the the entire business model is built on exploiting CGI animators

y'know, this is a great way for newer activists to start learning how real coalition building works and how demanding purity is the poison that kills movements in the cradle.

Miss Piggy’s Treasury of Art Masterpieces from the Kermitage Collection is a picture book featuring sixteen (minus the “The Birth of Venus” parody) different muppet parodies of famous artwork, edited by Henry Beard and illustrated by John E. Barrett, and published by Holt, Rinehart and Winston in 1984.

A majority of the illustrations were originally from the Miss Piggy’s Art Masterpiece Calendar which were all reprinted with commentary from Miss Piggy herself and new additions that expanded on the “Kermitage Collection” from the calendar.

illustrations continued:

Henri Rousseau. The Sleepy Zootsy.

Rembrant van Rijn. Arisfroggle Contemplating the Bust of a Twerp.

Jan Vermeer. Young Lady Adorning Herself with Pearls (and Why Not?).

Grant Wood. American Gothique.

Pablo Picasso. Pig Before a Mirror.

Good day to you Neil! :)

Just wondering, now that SAG-AFTRA is officially on strike too, will this impact the Good Omens 2 promotions in any way?

Once again thank you so much for taking time out to answer our questions — you don’t have to but that’s precisely why it means all the more to us <3

It means that Jon Hamm, David Tennant and Michael Sheen and Miranda Richardson (and possibly others) can’t go out now and promote it, and that the SDCC event will definitely be a screening and not actors talking on a panel.

(Edit to add, the Strike has not yet been declared.)

It has now.

Here is the current advice.

Having read a couple of the examples of why people are doing this, I gotta say, I am 100% supporting the actors in this one, the studios are being fucking awful.
